On Friday, February 19, 2016, after the stock market close, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued its 2017 Medicare Advantage and Part D Advance Notice and Draft Call Letter (the Advance Notice) detailing preliminary 2017 payment rates and proposed policy changes impacting payment rates. CMS has invited public comment on the Advance Notice before releasing final rates on April 4, 2016.
