Provident Financial Holdings Reports Second Quarter of Fiscal 2016 Earnings
January 26, 2016 6:00 AM ESTRIVERSIDE, Calif., Jan. 26, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Provident Financial Holdings, Inc. (Company), (NASDAQ: PROV), the holding company for Provident Savings Bank, F.S.B. (Bank), today announced second quarter earnings for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016.
For the quarter ended December 31, 2015, the Company reported net income of $982,000, or $0.11 per diluted share (on 8.60 million average diluted shares outstanding), down from net income of $2.33 million, or $0.25 per diluted share (on 9.24 million average diluted shares outstanding), in the comparable period a year ago. The decrease in net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2016...
