Regions Reports $1 Billion Full Year 2015 Net Income Available to Common Shareholders from Continuing Operations; Results Reflect Strong Loan and Revenue Growth
January 15, 2016 6:00 AM ESTBIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE: RF) today announced earnings for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2015. For the fourth quarter, the company reported net income available to common shareholders from continuing operations of $272 million and earnings per diluted share of $0.21, an increase of 40 percent over fourth quarter 2014. For the full year 2015, Regions reported net income available to common shareholders from continuing operations of $1 billion and earnings per diluted share of $0.76.
