October 29, 2015 10:46 AM EDTUBS reiterated a Buy rating on Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN), and raised the price target to $180.00 (from $168.00), following the company's 3Q earnings results. AMGN reported a $0.34 EPS beat on another strong quarter of key product growth and cost controls. Management still sees double-digit EPS growth out to 2018.

Amgen (AMGN) Announces FDA Approval of IMLYGIC
October 27, 2015 4:54 PM EDTAmgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the Biologics License Application for IMLYGIC (talimogene laherparepvec), a genetically modified oncolytic viral therapy indicated for the local treatment of unresectable cutaneous, subcutaneous and nodal lesions in patients with melanoma recurrent after initial surgery. IMLYGIC has not been shown to improve overall survival or have an effect on visceral metastases. IMLYGIC is the first oncolytic viral therapy approved by the FDA based on therapeutic benefit demonstrated in a pivotal study.1-3
