October 29, 2015 10:46 AM EDTUBS reiterated a Buy rating on Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN), and raised the price target to $180.00 (from $168.00), following the company's 3Q earnings results. AMGN reported a $0.34 EPS beat on another strong quarter of key product growth and cost controls. Management still sees double-digit EPS growth out to 2018.

October 27, 2015 8:01 AM EDTAmgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) and Cytokinetics Incorporated (Nasdaq: CYTK) announced that data from the expansion phase of COSMIC-HF (Chronic Oral Study of Myosin Activation to Increase Contractility in Heart Failure), a Phase 2 trial evaluating omecamtiv mecarbil in patients with chronic heart failure, showed statistically significant improvements in several measures of cardiac function, including systolic ejection time, stroke volume and N-terminal-pro-brain natriuretic peptide, at 20 weeks following randomization.
