CIT Group (CIT) CEO Thain to Retire
October 21, 2015 4:17 PM EDTCIT Group (NYSE: CIT) announced that Chief Executive Officer John A. Thain will retire effective March 31, 2016, and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and that CIT Board Member Ellen R. Alemany will become a member of the management team as Vice Chairman effective November 1, 2015, and upon Mr. Thains retirement become Chief Executive Officer.
