GM Reports Third-Quarter Net Income of $1.4 Billion and Record EBIT-Adjusted of $3.1 Billion
October 21, 2015 7:30 AM EDTDETROIT, Oct. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Â General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) today announced third-quarter net income to common stockholders of $1.4 billion or $0.84 per diluted share, compared to $1.4Â billion or $0.81 per diluted share a year ago. Improvement in operating performance during the quarter was offset by a net loss from special items.
Earnings per share adjusted for special items was $1.50, up 55 percent compared to the third quarter of 2014. Year to date through the third quarter, adjusted earnings per share was $3.63, up 96 percent compared to the prior year.
