August 27, 2015 7:06 AM EDTDollar General (NYSE: DG) reported Q2 EPS of $0.95, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.94. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $5.13 million.
Same-store sales increased 2.8 percent, with increases in both customer traffic and average transaction value.

Dollar General (DG) Declares $0.22 Quarterly Dividend; 1.1% Yield
August 27, 2015 7:05 AM EDTDollar General (NYSE: DG) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.22 per share, or $0.88 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on September 30, 2015, to stockholders of record on September 16, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of September 14, 2015.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.1 percent.
