General Electric (GE) Enters 30-MW Battery Storage Agreement with CESP
August 20, 2015 8:03 AM EDTGeneral Electric (NYSE: GE) announced it will provide Coachella Energy Storage Partners (CESP) with a 30-MW battery energy storage system as part of CESPs supply contract with the Imperial Irrigation District (IID). Representing GEs largest energy storage project to date, the plant will be located in Californias Imperial Valley, approximately 100 miles east of San Diego.
