The New York Times Co. (NYT) Reports Q2 EPS of $0.13; Revenues Fall 1.5%
August 6, 2015 8:32 AM EDTThe New York Times Co. (NYSE: NYT) reported Q2 EPS of $0.13, versus $0.07 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter fell 1.5% to $382.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $383.47 million.
Circulation and other revenues increased 0.9 percent and 4.5 percent, respectively, while advertising revenues declined 5.5 percent.
Our Companys digital progress continued in the second quarter, with double-digit year-over-year growth in both digital advertising and digital subscription revenue, said Mark Thompson, president and chief executive officer.... More
