Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2015 Results
August 5, 2015 6:01 AM EDTNORTH BERGEN, N.J., Aug. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. (NYSE: VSI), a multi-channel specialty retailer and manufacturer of nutritional products, today announced preliminary results for the three months ended June 27, 2015. Total net sales in the second quarter increased 5.3% to $322.3 million compared to $306.2 million in the same period of the prior year. Reported fully-diluted earnings per share in second quarter 2015 were $0.48, compared with $0.55 in second quarter 2014. Excluding non-operating items in both periods, adjusted EPS was $0.57 and $0.62, respectively.
