Global-Tech Advanced Innovations (Nasdaq: GAI) 90.4% HIGHER; announced that its Board of Directors (the Board) has received an unsolicited preliminary non-binding proposal letter, dated August 1, 2015, from Mr. John C.K. Sham, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, and certain of his controlled or affiliated entities (collectively, the Acquirer), proposing a potential offer to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of the Company (the Offer) not already beneficially owned or controlled by the Acquirer for $8.75 in cash per share.

Trex (NYSE: TREX) reported Q2 EPS of $0.58, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $137 million versus the consensus estimate of $137.54 million.
Trex sees Q3 2015 revenue of $96.0 million, versus the consensus of $111.3 million.
