UMC Provides Revised Third Quarter Earnings Guidance
July 29, 2015 8:24 AM EDTTAIPEI, Taiwan, July 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- United Microelectronics Corporation (NYSE: UMC; TWSE: 2303) ("UMC"), a leading global semiconductor foundry, today issued an update on its guidance for the third quarter of 2015.
Based on its 3Q 2015 outlook, UMC expects foundry segment gross profit margin to be in the high-teens percentage range, compared to its previously stated guidance of mid-teens percentage range in the company's earlier 2Q 2015 earnings announcement.
