Union Pacific Reports Second Quarter Results

Second Quarter Results
Diluted earnings per share of $1.38 declined 3 percent. Operating income totaled $1.9 billion, down 11 percent. Operating ratio of 64.1 percent, up 0.6 points.Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP) today reported 2015 second quarter net income of $1.2 billion, or $1.38 per diluted share, compared to $1.3 billion, or $1.43 per diluted share, in the second quarter 2014.
