Packaging Corporation of America Reports Record Second Quarter 2015 Results
July 21, 2015 5:03 PM EDTLAKE FOREST, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Packaging Corporation of America (NYSE: PKG) today reported record second quarter net income of $114 million, or $1.16 per share, compared to last years second quarter net income of $100 million, or $1.01 per share. Earnings included a net charge for special items for the Boise integration and DeRidder, Louisiana mill restructuring of $2 million, or $0.02 per share. Excluding special items, second quarter 2015 net income was a record $116 million, or $1.18 per share, compared to second quarter 2014 net income of $114 million, or $1.16 per share. Second quarter net sales were $1.5 billion in both 2015 and 2014.
