Earlier, UBS added Buy-rated CIGNA (NYSE: CI) to its 'Most Preferred' List and raised its price target to $175.00 (from $149.00), citing very attractive risk-reward.
"Cigna is well-positioned to achieve low- to mid-teens annual earnings growth over time, in our view," analyst A.J. Rice said. "CI's large and middle market U.S. commercial business is projected to see high margins and mid-single-digit percentage annual top line growth.... More

Deutsche Bank maintained a Buy rating on CIGNA (NYSE: CI) and raised its price target to $180.00 (from $145.00). Aetna (NYSE: AET) and Anthem (NYSE: ANTM) price targets were raised to $135 (from $122) and $180 (from $175), respectively.

Anthem (NYSE: ANTM) is also said to be considering a bid for Humana (NYSE: HUM), according to Bloomberg headlines. Anthem was previously speculated to eye a takeover of Cigna (NYSE: CI), causing the stock to rip higher in late morning trading.
