Actavis Reports Exceptional Performance in First Quarter 2015 with 59% Increase in Net Revenue to $4.2 Billion and 23% Growth in Non-GAAP EPS to $4.30
May 11, 2015 6:30 AM EDTDUBLIN, May 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Actavis plc (NYSE: ACT) today reported continued exceptional performance with net revenue increasing 59 percent to $4.23 billion for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, compared to $2.66 billion in the first quarter 2014. On a non-GAAP basis, diluted earnings per share increased 23 percent to $4.30 for the first quarter 2015, compared to $3.49 in the first quarter 2014. Non-GAAP earnings per share excluding Allergan and financing (shares and interest expense) related to Allergan was $4.59, representing 17 percent sequential improvement. Actavis to Re-launch Generic Pulmicort RESPULES® Following Favorable Appeals Court Ruling
May 7, 2015 4:06 PM EDTDUBLIN, May 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Actavis plc (NYSE: ACT) today announced that it will immediately re-launch its generic version of AstraZeneca's Pulmicort RESPULES® (budesonide inhalation suspension) 0.25 and 0.5 mg vials following a decision from the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to uphold a lower court's ruling that United States Patent No. 7,524,834 is invalid. The Appeals court also dissolved the injunction preventing Actavis from further distribution of its generic version of Pulmicort RESPULES® that was granted on March 12, 2015.
