LAS VEGAS, May 6, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant Travel Company (Nasdaq: ALGT) today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for April 2015.

"Our April TRASM results exceeded our guidance provided in late April," stated Jude Bricker, Senior Vice President of Planning. "While our April PRASM came in as we expected, both air related ancillary revenue and third party products revenue were stronger than originally anticipated. However, the better than expected TRASM performance in April does not affect our second quarter TRASM guidance of negative ten to negative eight percent versus the second quarter of 2014," concluded Bricker.
