May 8, 2015 6:10 AM EDTAmarin Corp plc (NASDAQ: AMRN) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.16), $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $21.86 million.
Commercialization update - United States
Normalized prescriptions (estimated) for the first quarter of 2015, based on data from Symphony Health Solutions and IMS Health, totaled approximately 154,000 and 137,000, respectively. These prescription levels represent growth of approximately 5% for each data set compared to the quarter ended December 31, 2014, and an increase of approximately 66% and 76%, respectively, compared to the same quarter in 2014.

The lawsuit, captioned Amarin Pharma, Inc., et al. v. Food & Drug Administration, et al., was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
