Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. Reports Record First Quarter 2015 Results

(NASDAQ: CLMT) (the "Partnership," "Calumet," "we," "our" or "us"), a leading independent producer of specialty hydrocarbon and fuel products, reported net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 of $23.8 million, or $0.27 per diluted unit, compared to a net loss of $49.8 million, or $(0.76) per diluted unit for the same quarter in 2014.Â

BISMARCK, N.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MDU Resources Group, Inc. (NYSE: MDU) and Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ: CLMT) today announced that the Dickinson, North Dakota-based Dakota Prairie refinery, the first greenfield fuels refinery built in the U.S. in nearly 40 years, has commenced operations. The facility has begun producing diesel fuel and is expected to begin sales of diesel as the plant ramps up during May.
