Great Plains Energy Incorporated Declares Dividends
May 5, 2015 9:41 AM EDTKANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Great Plains Energy (NYSE: GXP) today announced that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly dividend of $0.245 per share on its common stock. The Companys annual dividend level is $0.98 per share. The common dividend will be payable June 19, 2015 to shareholders of record as of May 29, 2015. The shares will begin to trade ex-dividend on May 27, 2015. The Board of Directors also declared regular dividends on the Companys 3.80%, 4.20%, 4.35% and 4.50% series of preferred stock, payable September 1, 2015 to shareholders of record as of August 11, 2015. The shares will begin to trade ex-dividend on August 7, 2015.
