Northland Remains Neutral Towards Itron (ITRI) in Wake of 'Modest Bookings'
May 5, 2015 9:51 AM EDTNorthland Capital Markets maintained Market Perform rating on Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI) and lowers its price target to $37 (from $41) after ITRI posted "modest bookings". Although ITRI announced that Duquesne Light & Power had signed on to have ITRI manage its smart grid network with recurring revenue in the $2/meter range, Northland is concerned that both the Water and Gas segments saw GM declines of 500+ bps Y-o-Y. (NASDAQ: ITRI) announced today that John Holleran, the companys executive vice president (EVP) and chief operating officer (COO), will be departing Itron effective the end of 2015. May 4, 2015 4:52 PM EDTItron (NASDAQ: ITRI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.20, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $448.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $441.6 million.
