CVS Health (CVS) Tops Q1 EPS by 6c
May 1, 2015 7:01 AM EDTCVS Health (NYSE: CVS) reported Q1 EPS of $1.14, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $1.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $36.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $35.93 billion.
Revenues in the Pharmacy Services Segment increased 18.2%, or $3.7 billion, to $23.9 billion in the three months ended March 31, 2015. The increase was primarily driven by growth in specialty pharmacy and pharmacy network claims.
