Valley National Bancorp Reports First Quarter Earnings And Solid Commercial Loan Growth
April 30, 2015 9:01 AM EDTWAYNE, N.J., April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Valley National Bancorp (NYSE: VLY), the holding company for Valley National Bank, today reported net income for the first quarter of 2015 of $30.3 million, or $0.13 per diluted common share as compared to net income of $25.1 million, or $0.11 per diluted common share, for the fourth quarter of 2014 and the first quarter of 2014 earnings of $33.8 million, or $0.17 per diluted common share. The first quarter of 2014 earnings per diluted common share included approximately $0.04 per share related to a tax benefit of $8.3 million as a result of a decrease in our reserve for...
