The New York Times Company Reports 2015 First-Quarter Results
April 30, 2015 8:30 AM EDTNEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The New York Times Company (NYSE: NYT) announced today adjusted diluted earnings per share from continuing operations (defined below) of $.11 in the first quarter of 2015 compared with $.07 in the first quarter of 2014. There was a first-quarter 2015 diluted loss per share from continuing operations of $.09 compared with diluted earnings per share of $.02 in the same period of 2014.
Adjusted operating profit (defined below) grew to $59.2 million in the first quarter of 2015 from $56.6 million in the first quarter of 2014, as broad cost reductions more than offset a decline in revenues. There... More
