Oil States Announces Adjusted First Quarter 2015 Earnings of $0.45 per Share
April 29, 2015 7:34 PM EDTHOUSTON, April 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oil States International, Inc. (NYSE: OIS) reported net income for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015 of $19.4 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, which included pre-tax charges of $2.1 million for severance and other downsizing initiatives, and a higher effective tax rate driven primarily by a $2.3 million deferred tax adjustment for certain non-deductible items. Excluding the first quarter 2015 significant charges and higher effective tax rate, net income would have been $23.1 million, or $0.45 per diluted share.
