Ally Financial Reports First Quarter 2015 Financial Results
April 28, 2015 7:30 AM EDTCHARLOTTE, N.C., April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Â Ally Financial Inc. (NYSE: ALLY) today reported net income of $576 million, and $1.06 per diluted common share, for the first quarter of 2015, compared to net income of $177 million, and $0.23 per diluted common share, in the prior quarter, and net income of $227 million, and $0.33 per diluted common share, for the first quarter of 2014. The company reported core pre-tax income, excluding repositioning items entirely related to the early extinguishment of high-cost legacy debt, of $490 million in the first quarter of 2015, compared to $396 million in the prior quarter...
