SCRANTON, Pa., April 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Peoples Financial Services Corp. (NASDAQ: PFIS) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.31 per share. The dividend is payable June 15, 2015 to shareholders of record May 29, 2015.

SCRANTON, Pa., April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Peoples Financial Services Corp. ("Peoples") (NASDAQ: PFIS), the bank holding company for Peoples Security Bank and Trust Company, today reported unaudited financial results at and for the three months ended March 31, 2015. Peoples reported net income of $5.0 million, or $0.67 per basic and diluted weighted average share for the first quarter of 2015, compared to net income of $4.7 million, or $0.62 per share, for the comparable period of 2014.
