Hanmi Reports Strong 2015 First Quarter Results
April 23, 2015 8:25 AM EDTLOS ANGELES, April 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hanmi Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: HAFC) (or "Hanmi"), the holding company for Hanmi Bank (the "Bank"), today reported first quarter 2015 results. For the quarter, net income increased 86.5% to $11.1 million, or $0.35 per diluted share, compared to $5.9 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter 2014 and was up 0.6% from $11.0 million, or $0.34 per diluted share, in the year-ago period. In the first quarter 2015, pretax income from continuing operations grew 125.9% to $18.6 million from $8.2 million in the fourth quarter 2014 but was down 1.2% from $18.8 million in the year-ago period.
