CVS Health (CVS) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c

CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) reported Q3 EPS of $1.15, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $1.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $35 billion versus the consensus estimate of $34.74 billion.

Same store sales increased 2.0% versus the third quarter of last year, with pharmacy same store sales up 4.8% and front store same store sales down 4.5%.

CVS Health sees FY2014 EPS of $4.47-$4.50, versus the consensus of $4.49.

CVS Health sees Q4 2014 EPS of $1.18-$1.21, versus the consensus of $1.21.
