Marathon Petroleum (MPC) Raises Quarterly Dividend 19% to $0.50; 2.5% Yield

Marathon Petroleum (NYSE: MPC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share, or $2 annualized. This is a 19% increase from the prior dividend of $0.42.

The dividend will be payable on September 10, 2014, to stockholders of record on August 20, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of August 18, 2014.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.5 percent.
