'Titanfall' Xbox 360 Delay May Mean Sales are Better than Expected - Analyst (MSFT) (EA)

Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: EA) announced that its key title, Titanfall, will see a delay with its North American launch on Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Xbox 360 console until April 8th.

Sterne Agee commented today that the delay might mean strong sales for Titanfall, saying, the Xbox One and PC versions, which were released on March 11, have performed better than expected. Commentary from the firm wasn't elaborated upon.

Electronic Arts also said today that, Based on current estimates, these planned release date changes will not affect our fourth quarter fiscal year 2014 non-GAAP guidance for revenues or earnings.
