Another ominous sign for Apple?
Reports out Thursday have Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and Sprint (NYSE: S) planning to start taking pre-orders for Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone 5C on Friday morning. Also, this week contains a Friday the 13th.
Verizon has pre-orders starting at 3:01am EDT (12:01am PDT), while Sprint is at 2:00am CDT, which corresponds with a midnight launch on the West Coast.
Apple won't be offering pre-orders for the iPhone 5S ahead of the September 20th launch.
