Brinker International, Inc. (EAT) Tops Q4 EPS by 3c

Brinker International, Inc. (NYSE: EAT) reported Q4 EPS of $0.77, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $730.07 million versus the consensus estimate of $736.31 million.

Chili's domestic comparable restaurant sales decreased 0.3 percent for the quarter consisting of a 0.6 percent decrease for company-owned restaurants, partially offset by a 0.5 percent increase for franchised restaurants. Chili's international franchise comparable restaurant sales increased 2.3 percent.

Maggiano's comparable restaurant sales increased 0.2 percent, representing the 14th consecutive quarterly increase.

System-wide comps were flat in the quarter.

Sees FY2014 EPS of $2.70-$2.85, versus the consensus of $2.75.
