ITT Educational Services, Inc. (ESI) Misses Q4 EPS Views; Issues Weak FY13 Outlook

ITT Educational Services, Inc. (NYSE: ESI) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.41), $2.22 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $300.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $313.64 million.

New student enrollment in the fourth quarter of 2012 decreased 11.4% to 13,398 compared to 15,125 in the same period in 2011. Total student enrollment decreased 16.6% to 61,059 as of December 31, 2012 compared to 73,255 as of December 31, 2011.

Sees FY2013 EPS of $3.50-4.00, versus the consensus of $4.53.
