Jefferies Lifts Price Target, Maintains Buy on Blackstone (BX)

Jefferies reiterated a Buy on The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX) and raised its price target to $18.00 (from $17.00).

Analyst Daniel T. Fannon said, "Real estate continues to represent the primary source of both investment opportunity as well as realization potential headed into 2013. The secular demand trend for alternatives appears to be gaining momentum with strong inflows across all segments. Continued strong performance within liquid strategies has BX well positioned for a step up of incentive fee realizations into year-end."

The Blackstone is on Jefferies Conviction Buy List.
