CVS Caremark (CVS) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c; Boosts FY12 adj.-EPS Outlook; Guides Q2

CVS Caremark (NYSE: CVS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.65, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $30.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $30.31 billion.

Retail Pharmacy segment same stores sales increased 8.4%.

CVS Caremark sees FY2012 EPS of $3.23-$3.33, versus the consensus of $3.27.

CVS Caremark sees Q2 2012 EPS of $0.78-$0.80, versus the consensus of $0.74.
