Penn National (PENN) Issues Strong Q1 Results; Guides Q2, Raises FY12 Outlook

Penn National Gaming, Inc. (NASDAQ: PENN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.73, $0.14 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $736.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $699.85 million.

Sees Q2 2012 EPS of $0.64, versus the consensus of $0.62. Penn National Gaming, Inc. sees Q2 2012 revenue of $711 million, versus the consensus of $724.6 million.

Sees FY2012 EPS of $2.48, versus prior guidance of $2.22 and the consensus of $2.27. Penn National Gaming, Inc. sees FY2012 revenue of $2.87 billion, versus prior guidance of $2.79 billion and the consensus of $2.88 billion.
