HNI Corp. (HNI) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c; Guides Q2, Narrows FY12 Outlook

HNI Corp. (NYSE: HNI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.01, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $445.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $442.03 million.

Sees Q2 sales up 8-11 percent from the same quarter last year. Sees EPS of 13-18 cents, which compares to the Street estimate of 26 cents.

Narrowed its FY12 EPS guidance from $1.30-$1.50 to $1.35-$1.50, vs. the consensus estimate of $1.39.
