TransCanada (TRP) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c, Declares $0.42 Dividend

TransCanada (NYSE: TRP) reported Q3 EPS of $0.59, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.58. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.39 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.22 billion.

TransCanada's Board of Directors also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per common share for the quarter ending December 31, 2011, equivalent to $1.68 per share on an annualized basis.
