Stanley Black & Decker, Inc (SWK) Tops Q2 EPS by 19c, Raises FY11 Guidance

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc (NYSE: SWK) reported Q2 EPS of $1.46, $0.19 better than the analyst estimate of $1.27. Excluding M&A and settlement charges EPS was $1.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.62 billion.

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc sees FY2011 EPS of $5.15-$5.40, versus prior guidance of $4.75-$5.00 and the consensus of $5.50. Stanley Black & Decker, Inc sees FY2011 organic sales growth is now between 4-5%, down 1% from the prior range of 5-6%.
