CME Group (NASDAQ: CME) announced on Oct. 20, 2026, that FalconX and GSR executed the first block trade in its new Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures contracts.
The two new contracts expand CME Group's single-asset cryptocurrency product suite, which already includes Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana, Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui futures.
Giovanni Vicioso, Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products at CME Group, said the new futures are intended to give clients "more versatility to manage cryptocurrency risk and exposure" through its marketplace.
Griffin Sears, Head of Derivatives at FalconX, said in a statement that institutional demand is "moving beyond the largest digital assets toward tokens with distinct use cases, like Bitcoin Cash in payments and Uniswap in decentralized finance."
Xin Song, CEO of GSR, said supporting the new contracts "from day one" aligns with the firm's focus on providing liquidity in crypto derivatives.
CME Group reported year-to-date 2026 cryptocurrency futures and options average daily volume of more than 242,000 contracts, equivalent to $7.9 billion in notional value, with average daily open interest of nearly 240,000 contracts, or $14.3 billion notional. The company also reported nearly $2 billion in year-to-date notional value growth tied to its 2026 expansion into Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui futures.
Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures are listed on and subject to the rules of CME.
