Yelp Inc. (NYSE: YELP) announced its 2026 Fall Product Release, introducing more than 30 new features and updates to its platform, according to a company statement.
Yelp Assistant, the company's AI chatbot, now integrates with OpenTable, allowing users to discover and book reservations at tens of thousands of restaurants on iOS. Users can also join a Yelp Waitlist within the chat. Combined with existing Yelp Reservations, DoorDash and Grubhub integrations, Yelp says the assistant now covers more than half a million restaurants. The company said approximately 10% of Request a Quote submissions came through Yelp Assistant in Q2.
A new feature called Check for Me acts as an AI phone agent that calls a restaurant on a user's behalf and texts back the current wait time. Users enter their party size and phone number, and the agent places the call. The feature is set to roll out in the coming months on eligible restaurant pages in the U.S. on iOS.
Yelp is also introducing My Lists, which lets users save, rank and share local businesses in "Been Here" and "Want to Go" categories. The feature is available on iOS and Android, with desktop viewing supported.
For service professionals, Yelp is launching Smart Lead Reply, an AI agent that automatically responds to and qualifies incoming leads submitted through Request a Quote. The tool will be priced at $30 per month for businesses in eligible categories. New scheduling integrations with ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro, and lead management integrations with Jobber and Workiz, are also being introduced.
"A hardworking Pro shouldn't have to choose between the job in front of them and winning their next customer," said Charles Deutsch, SVP of Pro Revenue at Housecall Pro.
On the advertising side, Yelp Audiences campaigns will now use intent-based custom creative tied to past search behavior. A new Shopify Conversions app will allow advertisers to connect Yelp's Conversion API to their Shopify stores to track purchases linked to ad activity.
