Aclarion, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACON, ACONW), a healthcare technology company focused on chronic low back pain, reported 85% year-over-year scan volume growth in the third quarter of 2026, according to a shareholder letter published by Chief Executive Officer Brent Ness.

Scan volumes grew 117% for the nine months ended September 30, 2026. The company's Nociscan platform uses magnetic resonance spectroscopy and proprietary algorithms to help physicians identify sources of chronic low back pain.

The European Spine Journal published peer-reviewed data supporting MRS as a potential alternative to provocative discography, adding to the company's clinical evidence base. Aclarion said the publication is intended to support reimbursement initiatives in the United Kingdom and the United States.

The company's CLARITY clinical trial, which targets 300 patients, has expanded to eleven clinical sites. Aclarion updated the trial's inclusion and exclusion criteria to accelerate recruitment. The company said the overall trial duration remains on track and plans to provide an update on enrollment progress and anticipated initial readout timing by year-end.

Aclarion reported $14.2 million in cash, which it said provides an anticipated runway into the second half of 2027 and sufficient resources to fully fund the CLARITY trial.
