October 19, 2026 4:15 PM EDT

Lear Corporation (NYSE: LEA) has appointed Jared Fedele as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1, 2027, the Southfield, Michigan-based automotive supplier announced.

Fedele will succeed Jason Cardew, who has elected to retire after 34 years with the company. Cardew will remain CFO through February 28, 2027, and will then serve as Executive Advisor to Lear's senior management team through December 31, 2027.

Fedele has spent 23 years at Lear, currently serving as Vice President of Finance for Seating and E-Systems, overseeing finance for both of the company's operating divisions. He has previously led Global Financial Planning and Analysis and held senior operational finance roles. His experience includes more than six years of finance leadership in Asia Pacific across two assignments, with involvement in the company's expansion in China.

"As a Lear veteran with broad experience across our businesses, Jared is well prepared to lead our Finance organization as we continue to execute our strategy," said Ray Scott, president and CEO.

Cardew said he has worked closely with Fedele for many years and expressed confidence in his successor's readiness for the role. "I look forward to supporting him through a smooth transition," Cardew said.
