Fox Corporation (Nasdaq: FOXA, FOX) announced that Adam Ciongoli, its Chief Legal and Policy Officer, will not renew his contract and will step down from the role effective December 1, according to a company press release.

Ciongoli will transition to a special advisor role at Fox through June 2028.

Nicholas Trutanich, currently Executive Vice President and Principal Deputy General Counsel, will assume the role of General Counsel effective December 1, reporting to Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer Lachlan Murdoch.

Trutanich joined Fox Corporation in 2021 as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer and has since led the company's litigation and ethics and compliance functions. Before joining Fox, he served as the U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada from 2019 to 2021, held senior roles at the Nevada Attorney General's Office, and worked as a federal prosecutor within the U.S. Department of Justice. Earlier in his career, he worked as a litigator in private practice and as a federal law clerk.

"Nick Trutanich has been a critical member of the FOX team since joining the Company five years ago and will bring deep legal, litigation and compliance experience to this expanded role," said Murdoch.

As part of the broader leadership transition, Kristopher Jones, Executive Vice President and Head of Government Relations, will report directly to John Nallen, President and Chief Operating Officer of Fox Corporation, also effective December 1.
