October 19, 2026 4:01 PM EDT

Delcath Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCTH) announced presentations related to its clinical development programs at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, scheduled for October 23–27 in Madrid, Spain, according to a company press release.

On October 24, the company will present a trial-in-progress poster for its DELUMA study, a randomized Phase II trial evaluating melphalan hepatic delivery system induction followed by standard therapy versus standard therapy alone in patients with liver-dominant metastatic breast cancer. The presentation will be led by Heather McArthur, MD, MPH, of UT Southwestern Medical Center.

A "Meet the Investigators" session is also scheduled for October 24, during which updates on the Del-Liver Phase 2 trial in metastatic colorectal cancer and the DELUMA Phase 2 trial in metastatic breast cancer will be presented by their respective global principal investigators.

Separately, an independent investigator poster will compare melphalan hepatic delivery plus ipilimumab/nivolumab against tebentafusp in patients with liver-metastatic uveal melanoma.

Delcath also highlighted a retrospective analysis published in ESMO Open by independent investigators from St Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. The study examined 12 patients with liver-dominant metastatic uveal melanoma who underwent chemosaturation with percutaneous hepatic perfusion at University Hospital Southampton between 2019 and 2026.

Key findings from the 12-patient cohort included an objective response rate of 66.7% and a disease control rate of 75% per RECIST 1.1 criteria. Median hepatic progression-free survival was 18.4 months and median overall survival was 28 months. Serious adverse events were reported in three patients, including pulmonary embolism and one procedural hemorrhage, with no treatment-related deaths. Exploratory analyses identified BAP1 loss and monosomy 3 as associated with shorter survival.

Delcath's HEPZATO KIT is FDA-approved in the United States for adult patients with metastatic uveal melanoma with unresectable hepatic metastases. In Europe, the company's CHEMOSAT Hepatic Delivery System is approved as a Class III medical device.
