Calix adds AI assistant to CommandIQ app for home network管理

Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) launched Subscriber Agent, a conversational AI assistant integrated into its refreshed CommandIQ mobile app, at the company's annual innovation and customer success conference.

Built on the Calix One platform and the Calix Agent Workforce framework, Subscriber Agent allows residential subscribers to manage their home networks through natural voice and text conversations. Tasks include setting up guest networks, adjusting parental controls, diagnosing connectivity issues, and accessing billing information.

The CommandIQ app is already used by millions of subscribers and can be customized to each service provider's brand. Calix says Subscriber Agent draws on network intelligence to understand individual connected-home environments, with the stated aim of reducing routine support calls to service providers.

The feature incorporates existing Calix products, including ExperienceIQ for managing family internet use, ProtectIQ for home network security, and ScamWatchIQ for online threat navigation. Billing integration is also included.

Katie Luckett, director of marketing, communications and education at Choptank Electric Cooperative, commented on the launch: "Subscriber Agent gives members a secure and more natural way to get help and manage their connected homes 24/7 simply by asking in their own words."

Juergen Lindner, chief marketing officer at Calix, said: "Subscriber Agent changes that. A new conversational AI experience in CommandIQ makes it easy for subscribers to address their everyday issues around their connected homes, simply by asking for help."

To support service provider adoption, Calix is releasing launch resources, customizable campaigns, and guidance through Calix University, Success events, and the Calix Community.
