Cboe Global Markets (Cboe: CBOE) has launched extended trading hours for select single-stock and exchange-traded fund (ETF) options on its Cboe Options Exchange (C1), according to a company statement.
Trading is now available during a pre-market session from 7:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. ET and a post-market session from 4:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. The launch covers options on 24 single stocks and five ETFs, including shares of Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Tesla, Amazon, Meta, and Alphabet, as well as ETFs such as SPY and QQQ. Through September, options on these securities accounted for approximately 53% of average daily U.S.-listed options volume in 2026.
Fidelity Investments, Interactive Brokers, Moomoo US, Robinhood, Tiger Brokers Singapore, TradeStation Securities, and Tradier are among the brokers supporting the launch.
Cboe already offers near 24x5 trading of several proprietary index options through its Global Trading Hours session, which runs from 8:15 p.m. ET to 9:25 a.m. ET, and its Curb Trading Hours session from 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. The company said GTH trading reached record monthly and quarterly average daily volume in September and the third quarter of 2026.
Cboe's U.S. equities business currently operates from 4 a.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET on two of its exchanges. The company plans to launch trading 23 hours a day, five days a week on its Cboe BZX Exchange on December 6, subject to industry readiness.
