Owlting Group marks one year on Nasdaq, reports payment volume growth

October 19, 2026 6:59 AM EDT

Owlting Group (NASDAQ: OWLS), the operating brand of OBOOK Holdings Inc., published a letter to shareholders from Founder and CEO Darren Wang marking the first anniversary of the company's Nasdaq listing, which occurred on October 16, 2025.

According to the letter, the company's OwlPay Harbor payment volume grew approximately 15-fold from April to September 2026, representing an average compound monthly growth rate of more than 70%, with eight consecutive months of volume increases. The company noted that these operating metrics are unaudited and derived from internal records.

The company reported that enterprise clients exceeded 100 as of the date of the release, up from 84 as of August 31, 2026. Payments settled into approximately 50 countries and territories during 2026.

On the regulatory front, Owlting said its U.S. subsidiary holds Money Transmitter Licenses or their equivalent in 42 U.S. states, and its Japanese subsidiary is registered as an Electronic Payment Intermediary Service Provider.

The letter reiterated long-term financial targets previously disclosed at the company's first-half 2026 earnings call, including approximately $500 million in annual revenue from OwlPay and digital currency-enabled payment services by 2030, with gross margins of roughly 65% to 70% for digital currency payments at scale.

"AI can make commerce smarter, but it does not make financial regulation disappear," Wang said in the letter. "The hardest part of a payment is not the transfer button, but the infrastructure behind it, and that is what we have spent more than five years building."

The company said it plans to add conversion between different digital currencies and payment capabilities for AI agents and tokenized stocks to its platform. For 2027, the company stated it aims to take steps toward global scale, without providing specific targets.

Owlting is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, and has subsidiaries across the United States, Japan, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia.
